Most of Canada’s provincial nominee programs require the support of an employer. Employees may ask for letters, forms, and other company information to accompany their application. HRI is well versed with these programs and can advise on the requirements and potential risks when sponsoring their employees for permanent residency.
What fees are employers responsible for?
In general, the fees associated with provincial nominee programs are either free of charge or the fee may be paid by the employee. If a nomination is granted and the employee requires a work permit extension, the fee will fall under one of the LMIA-exempt categories.
